HARP Trinity Center

Project Overview

The HARP, a Trinity treatment center being constructed in the Effutu Municipality to serve the people of the Central Region and Ghana as a whole, is on the verge of collapse due to lack of funding and support to complete phases 2 & 3 of the project.

Substance abuse and substance addiction are global problems in Ghana, and the Central Region and Effutu Municipality are not exceptions. The vision of the HARP for the project is to construct an ultra-modern drug treatment and support center that will help prevent, treat, and rehabilitate our fellow brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, that find themselves helplessly in one or more forms of drug dependency.

Project Phases

The project is structured in three comprehensive phases:

Construction Phases:

a. Foundation
b. Superstructure and Finishing
c. Logistics, Equipment, and Human Resource Mobilization
The whole project is estimated to cost two hundred and fifty thousand dollars (USD $250,000), but with the work completed, an amount of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars is proposed to complete it.

Due to lack of funds, support, and financial assistance, Phase I which was completed a year and seven months ago, is on the verge of collapse due to the surge in rainfalls over the past months.
